The link above takes you to the first blog that I started more than seven years ago and includes mid-decade posts of my own writings during the 2005-2011 period. While I now focus on links to reliable sources for news, features and entertainment that I would include in a newspaper or magazine if I owned one, I still occasionally add comments, some of which unfortunately have caused me to lose friends. I love controversy, as you will see if you visit the blog, as I attempt, sometimes unsuccessfully, to keep an open mind on the issues impacting all of us.
