Toney Atkins writes: Thanks to those of you who have noticed that this and my other blog, in addition to my web site, www.toneyatkins.com/ , brought this and other Southern Povery Law Center reports about right-wing extremists/hate groups to readers' attention even before some TV cable news channels started paying attention to them. No, I am not presumptuous enough to believe any of them saw my blog postings. Like any other newsman, however, I sometimes feel good to think that I have "scooped" someone with my coverage -- even the reports I did not write myself. This hate group/militia issue is one which all citizens should take very seriously, because their actions possibly can lead to terrible consequences for everyone.
