Started in the mid-2000s by retired newspaper editor and writer (and a karaoke host/DJ by night), Toney Atkins' website ( www.toneyatkins.com/ ) offers breaking news, weather, tributes to current members and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, personal writings by Atkins on various subjects and links to reliable sources offering information and thought-provoking stories and articles about health, science, politics, religion, spirituality, entertainment and humor. Atkins worked for the Daytona Times, the Daytona Beach News-Journal and the DeLand Sun-News during his 33 years in Florida. along with ten or so years of hosting and acting as DJ Toney A at private parties and several nightclubs in the Greater Daytona Beach Area.
