I have started a new blog, which you can find at http://toneyatkins2.blogspot.com/ .

In an effort to be even more selective about news reports and features from reliable sources, I will be writing my own essays, stories and, eventually, even chapters that will go into one of two books that I am working on. A work of fiction has also been fermenting in my dysfunctional brain, and when it begins to develop in written form, you will be the first to read it.

As with my other blogs and website, www.toneyatkins.com/ , this blog will be nonprofit and my writings will be free of ads. News. feature story and some opinion links, however, will continue to show advertising from their sites.

I am delighted to report that as I write this, 13,000-plus page views have been recorded for "The World Around Me."
